We are looking for a talent who is suitable for the position of Business Manager (South Africa) to join Stavian to #GOGLOBAL with the following criteria & work:
 

Job Description

  • Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets. Develop and maintain customer data base by contacting, collect inquiry and sending offer regularly.
  • In charge of buying and selling plastic resins including Polyolefin, PVC from (South Africa) producers, distributors and selling Polyolefin, PVC, PET to assigned existing customers and new customers.
  • Represent company at meetings and conferences in (South Africa) and international tradeshows to promote company’s trademarks and products.
  • Maintain and develop relationship with (South Africa) resin producers.
  • Assisting SCM to monitor logistics, inventory management and cargo allocations.
  • Conduct market research by gathering market information for price setting to specific markets.
  • Prepare marketing reports; market situation and competitors’ products to analyze market trend based on region, seasoning and customer habit.
  • Marketing idea and strategy to gain potential customer’s interest.

 Preferred Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in (South Africa) and international markets.
  • In-depth understanding about polymer market in (South Africa).
  • Able to be on abroad or domestic business trips.
  • In-depth understanding of the latest business policies and regulations.

  • Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership quality and negotiation skills.
  • Time and task management.
  • Be able to work independently under high pressure and flexibility work environment.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields. MBA degree is preferred.
