We are looking for a talent who is suitable for the position COMMODITY TRADING MANAGER (Singapore) to join Stavian to #GOGLOBAL with the following criterias & works:

Manage and develop business transactions (buy/sell) with Producers and Customers in Singapore, including Products (Energy Commodities, LNG, LPG, Coal, Agricultural Products, Hydrocarbon products,Petrochemical products , Metals , chemical products)

 

Trading Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement effective trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and optimize trading performance.
  • Analyse market data, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors to inform trading decisions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging trading opportunities and risks.

Trading Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day trading operations, including trade execution, position management, and risk monitoring.
  • Collaborate with trading team members to execute trades efficiently and ensure compliance with risk limits and trading protocols.
  • Manage trading positions and exposure to market volatility, implementing risk management measures to protect profitability.

Market Research And Analysis

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the commodities market.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry news to assess their impact on trading strategies and product offerings.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to evaluate trading performance and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Management And Compliance

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate trading risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor trading positions, margin requirements, and credit exposure to maintain risk within acceptable limits.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with key clients, counterparties, and industry stakeholders.

  • Provide market insights and trading recommendations to clients, addressing their needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and relationship management teams to identify opportunities for business growth and client retention.

Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years experience in Business or Trading as Energy Products, Agricultural Products, Hydrocarbon products, LNG & LPG, Petrochemical products , Metals and minerals.

  • Leadership abilities, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • And can give results with fewer supervisions
  • Task management.
  • Able to work independently under high pressure and flexibility work environment.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields. MBA degree is preferred.
